A fluent liar since birth, Jill Marcotte is now an author lady in Fairbanks Alaska with publications in several online magazines. When not writing, she’s typically baking, ingesting the internet, or chasing her
one two three sons and a growing flock of chickens. She also volunteers in local schools, libraries, and writing groups, bringing the joy of reading and writing to the next generation, and sometimes the previous one, too.
A member of the Alaska Writers Guild, the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and the local NaNoWriMo chapter, she writes fantasy, supernatural , horror, sci-fi, and whatever else pops in her head. You can follow her on Twitter (@MarcotteJN), and poke around this website, where she shares writing samples, industry insights, and silly comics about the perils of the creative life.
If you have any questions, concerns, suggestions, or you just feel like yacking , feel free to shoot her an email!
You can also join the conversation on Twitter, where she (@MarcotteJN) often posts her Last Sentence Written (#LSW) and participates in word sprints or other writing challenges, as well as discussing the merits of bacon, pie, and bacon pie.
Or just leave a comment! She would love that!
